WOMEN ON THE FRINGES

This program will present three exceptional women who repeatedly step out of their comfort zone and at the same time enter unconventional projects and life challenges: Gabriela Slováková – a prison director, Veronika Jonášová – a documentary filmmaker who has filmed a number of documentaries, especially about mothers in prison; and finally Halina Šimková, a forensic geneticist whose subject is myths about genetics such as suicide gene, inheritance of alcoholism, unwanted programming of an unborn child by the mother and others.

Because of their profession, these women often get to the fringes of society, but in keeping with their mission, they are moving our society in the right direction.
