She graduated from the University of Agriculture, the Faculty of Operations and Economics and worked as an economist before the Revolution. She established the bathroom equipment company in 1991. She started with just one store in South Bohemia: Čimelice. Today the company has over 50 outlets throughout the Czech Republic and the Slovak Republic, sales exceed 3 bn. CZK and it has almost 900 employees.

She has been awarded many prestigious awards for her managerial achievements, for instance, the only female with Manager of the Quarter Century, later on as Manager of the year 2013. In the TOP 2017 rankings she was the first businesswoman in the business category, and her company SIKO is ranked every year in the top 100 Czech Companies ranking.
She has three adult children whom she has successfully passed the management of the company.
“I’ve lived to a relatively old age and I have been living in constant change, the changes have been, are, and I hope will still happen a lot, and hopefully in a good way. I take all changes as a flowing, organic thing, sometimes happening out of necessity without my active role, sometimes full of surprises, responsibilities, joys and worries. It’s not always about what I’m going to decide, nor about ‘reaping what you sow”.
