IVAN FENINEC
Human Resources Director, Česká pošta company
Ivan Feninec graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague, majoring in nuclear power engineering. In 2002 he completed his MBA studies at the Prague International Business School. After several years of experience in the operation of nuclear power plants in Dukovany and Temelín, he worked at the Temelín Nuclear Power Plant as a Deputy Director for Human Resources, starting in 1998. In 2002, he moved to the ČEZ joint-stock company headquarters, where he held several managerial positions in the area of human resources management, up to the Human Resources Director position.

Since 2008, he has been working as the Human Resources Director at the Česká pošta company, where he has fundamentally restructured the HR department as a Front office HR business partner, with full centralization of HR administration and creation of expert HR centers. He introduced a new system of remuneration and employee appraisal for a fair evaluation of the performance of individuals in the state enterprise.
He also brought personnel controlling and HR process support through the HR portal to the state enterprise, and introduced HR marketing processes as well. He is responsible for conducting social dialogue and for concluding a collective bargaining agreement with trade unions.
In cooperation with health care institutions, he supports the fight and prevention of melanoma and breast cancer. He is the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Post Securities Printer Prague, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Health Insurance Company of the Ministry of the Interior. Last but not least, he is a lecturer and consultant.
